Has anyone here seen this? I managed to watch the entire thing in 3 sessions over three days.

I've seen it before and it's not too awful. A lot of assumptions as to why Marlin made things a certain way I disagree with. And some errors here and there on what models came in what, or certain features. Some of those errors were based on just looking at a small number of examples and making more assumptions. I really was shocked when the guy on the left said he thought his dad was shooting it with something like 13.5 grains of Blue Dot! Never heard of anyone using Blue Dot in an old single shot rifle of any brand?
I think those guys could benefit immensely by getting a copy of John Dutcher's wonderful book on Ballards and study it thoroughly.

Unfortunately John's book is hard to find and rather expensive when found, but worth every penny when found.

I buy every copy I can find reasonably as I am always asked by friends if I have a spare. I have two I got from John, and one was when he first came back from the printer at the KC show. The other later and it's getting well worn from decades of use.

I saw those videos some time back, and even I, a true dolt about most things Ballard, knew they were blowing.... something.
And Ballard or other brand, Blue Dot ought not to be used in old rifles. Heck, I even know some shotgun shooters that wish it had never been made available. Vall should get a gold star for pointing that out to any that are listening. Here's an attaboy instead. [smiley=thumbsup.gif
Thanks, Joe, for including a link to these. You can have a big ol' crab Louie for supper this evening to pat yerself on the back.

Mr Toastmaster would roll over in his grave if he saw that video. It was tough to watch. They had some nice rifles on the table but didn't say much of anything about them. I thought it was very strange.

Since one guy mentioned many of them were borrowed for the video I'd assume he didn't ask the lender details about them? Or maybe he just didn't have cue cards to help him describe them?
I found the video like two guys who were curious just chatting about guns they weren't fluent in. Just enough knowledge to be dangerous.

Borrowed, I missed that.
I was having a difficult time concentrating on what they were saying. To much gesturing sputtering and repeating.
