What serial number range is this rifle?

To be clear, the stock and forearm are the original matching number stocks and have been refinished?

The serial number is in the 1700's.
The wood is not original.  I bought the Ballard barreled action and stocked it as a long range.

Pinwheel,
That is excellent wood work.  Also great metal work.
Do yo do that as a profession or hobby?
