How's the weather in your area.
Print Post
Hey guys,

Good morning.  The weather canceled our big bore BPCR match yesterday.  It's currently 19 degrees here in the Austin, Texas area with a layer of frozen sleet covering everything, roads, ground & roofs.  We had 3/4" of rain before the temperature dropped below freezing, so no accumulation of ice on the trees.  No power outages so far in my area. I hope y'all are handling the weather with no major problems.

Wayne

6 inches of snow, -6 degrees last night. The person who said “a winter wonderland” should have his head examined.

We’re really suffering through winter here in central Florida.

Low 67* high of 87* mostly sunny…..😄

I think I’ll go outside and barbecue some ribs and wings for the playoffs today….👍

It's warmed up to 0. -15 wind chill. Shop heater running well. Only 50% snow cover. Strange winter.

Hey, I resemble that remark  Angry

Here on the Peninsula we call it "winter"  Wink

I'm glad we missed the freezing rain.  I feel bad for anyone having to deal with those conditions.  Let it snow.  Makes for a good day to do reloading  Cool

Mike.

South central Idaho, bright and sunny 20F here according to the interweb. Warmest winter in the ten years I've been here. Currently 33F on my thermometer. No snow no rain just beautiful bright sunlight. No complaints.   Smiley

Cold for me at 31 and thick fog. I got a 50amp generator yesterday after getting the wiring done a couple of weeks ago. My wife had been bugging me for 30 years to get one. One less item on her nag list.

Having a heat wave in NW Iowa.  No snow, 7 now, -12 last night.  Had -23 with 40+ wind chills a couple days ago.

The Iowa great lakes have what they call winter games this weekend.  One of the games is the polar plunge.  They cut a hole in the ice and folk jump in with swim suits on.  Standing in line is the worst part I guess, and I don’t participate.

Just another balmy day here in central N.Y.  Two degrees and snowing like the devil. Out in the shop casting bullets and snug as a bug.

N. East wi. First day I saw above zero in 3 days. No precipitation from the storm. Only about 4” on the ground.

Just completed four days at the first annual 22 National Single Shot Rifle Match at Ben Avery Shooting Facility (north of Phoenix). Had 40-some shooters total, this morning weather was about 45˚F with wind of about 10mph, gusting more. It turned into a decent day with much lighter breeze at 65˚-ish. Previous three days had calmer warmer weather. A good time was had by all.
Later today we are having a shooter's dinner at Edelweiss Biergarten (German restaurant in Phoenix).

There are indeed two Americas. Simply put, it is not the haves and have nots. The two Americans are in reality divided into those who do and those who don't.

Yesterday morning it was -30 F at my house in Minnesota and plenty of snow cover. Keeps me from going out to the shop due to the cold and ice.

Up to -30 here, 20 mph wind, so a bit balmy here, but February is when it gets really cold.
Only 30" of snow so far, but they're calling for snow most of the week.
Need snowshoes at the range!  Smiley

Beautiful sunshine and 54° today, but it is supposed to get up to 60° by this time next week.

The wife and I walked for almost 2 miles on the beach near Floras Lake in Langlois.

Works for us!

Here in NW Oregon it was 25 degrees this morning when I headed to the gun show and 45 degrees at noon when I came home. Sunny and clear for the last 21 days with no rain. A new record for January in Oregon!

Almost the same, here in Southern OR, along I5. Low 24, High 47 and sunny.

Going to Brookings (South Coast) Wednesday/Thursday for Elaine's Bday. I hope that 60° weather holds Smiley

Add 8° to those temps for our home in the Redwoods at the head of tidewater on the Eel River.  Sunny here also.
