cherished single shots

I have 4 single shot rifles and would not give up any of them even at age 75!
At an early age my grandpa taught me on the farm, one shot, one kill with his stevens single shot.
My cherished possessions are....
Savage 72 Crackshot in 22lr
Anschutz model 64 in 22lr
Ruger #1 in 6mm Remington
Browning 1885 Miroku in 45-70
You can't take them with you but can hang on to them until the end!  Roll Eyes

I understand hanging on to them as long as possible but if you do try and have an avenue for them. I had a family member who didn't and it took me 4 years to liquidate his estate. I am in the same boat and don't have my avenue as yet but I am working on it. Another problem I have is I keep adding to them!

Some where here, someone said buying Ballards added years to your life.  Been buying one every year now.  Will be hitting 78 soon.  They are all cherished.
Maybe should get a couple this year?
Huh

A few years ago I sent a list of my rifles, shotguns and pistols to my two kids.  They were to rank them in the order of which one they would like the most and on down.  When I received their replies I separated my guns into two columns, one for each.  Since then I have just added my recent acquisitions as I receive them.
We do have wills, but I don't want a dam lawyer mixed up in my collection of guns!
