This rifle is a donation with all of the proceeds going to the Gopher Rifle & Revolver Club Junior program.
For sale Winchester 1885 single shot rifle.  Custom made by Ballard Rifle company Cody Wyoming.  Made in 2003, serial number W516.  $2,900.00 Shipped.
1885 40-82 rifle,
32”,  #5 octagon barrel,
1-16 twist Badger barrel,
MVA wind gage front sight with level and full set on inserts,
X-Fancy walnut wood with two ebony inserts,
Special Sporting Rifle “Shotgun butt-plate”,
Close Couple Set Trigger,
Thick Walled, Case Color Hardened Receiver,
Drilled and taped with scope blocks(10 1/8"spacing).
Included with the rifle, a hard case, a four piece Redding die set, and 195 fire formed Starline brass.
The rifle weighs 12lbs. 7oz.   Additional images available.

Just my opinion. Scope blocks and the holes ruin a rifle.

Nice looking rifle. Ballard Rifle Company was using 1 ink 16 twist Badger barrels when that rifle was made. Should be a good shooter as well as a looker.

Those close-coupled DSTs are great.
The BACo 430gr Creedmoor bullet would likely be a good bullet in that rifle.

The ad states Douglas and order states Badger.  Which is correct

I have remover "Douglas from the first page of this listing. Sorry for any confusion. I measured the twist and it is 1-16.

Beautiful Rifle  , I wish I was born rich instead of whatever .
Like I usually say , I would give a Body Part for it and as my wife would say Nobody wants my left Testicle .
