Just happened on this this morning. Seems a might bit high to me but this is Germany and the seller's prices are generally a bit high.

Also happened on an original Mauser Wehrmanns Gewehr for a very reasonable price, can't wait to see it but it is a 1940 vintage repeater....

The Malcolm scope adds significantly to the value, but not enough to total nearly $7600!

Nice rifle. It is a late 1882 with the safety firing pin. The groove diameter should be about .360-.362 versus the older ones that were .368" or larger.
