Well everyone has seen it already in the general thread. I will follow though with offering it here for a bit.

Ballard Carbine hand ejector, identified with some certaintly (Thanks Marlinguy) to be a sporting model 44RF, stored in a Tennessee basement with a ton of other military arms of which I had no access to. Some were disintegrated by the former Fedex pilots water logged basement, some just took the humidity poorer than others. This is one of the GOOD ones. Anecdotally I was able to recover a functional 03-a3 sporter and a M1917 Eddy sporter, again with the Eds red. The bores are sewers but I feel like I performed a miracle getting them to open their mouths and operate again.

I digress:

The carbine is a sewer pipe much to the end of the condition of the octagon hidden section of the barrel. Inside looks far worse than outside but I have not even cleared a cobweb out of the barrel. Pictures tell the story. Action was fused by rust, Eds Red, a very gentle tap or two on the breach block with a leather mallet unlocked the action. Most screws are loose and undamaged, 2 or 3 I will have nothing to do with as fear of buggering them is real for me. Those are in the breach block.

Offering as a donor for parts. I have taken some rollers that didnt have breach faces left and machined into functional parts and thus I know there are those who actually have talent and can make a bloody sows ear look pretty tasty.

$150, plus whatever shipping is to you. It was a fun challenge to make it operate again, that wil be my satisfaction in ownership.

For confidence, see my past posts with many a sale and purchase here. Nothing has changed except I got older, am worse for wear and still havent met someone in West TN to shoot with. Thanks for looking.

Sure, I'm game! I only have a few dozen unfinished projects, so why not add to the pile?

Will send PM to set things in motion. Thanks...   Jim
