Support the ASSRA Forum

If your item sells through the For Sale or Trade section, please consider making a small donation to help support the forum.

For example, we suggest $5 for any items less than $1000 and $10 for any item greater than $1000. There are real costs involved in running and maintaining this platform. Your contribution helps keep it active and accessible to all.  Not all forum users are ASSRA members and if you benefit from the classifieds or the knowledge shared here, your help is greatly appreciated. Every donation helps sustain this valuable resource for single shot rifle collectors and enthusiasts. Thank you for helping keep the tradition alive!

This should be made a sticky.

I hadn’t thought about it, or even know how, to do a donation just for using this forum until now.

There is a tremendous amount of knowledge and helpful folks here.

I didn’t sell anything but just made a small donation anyway.

I haven't sold either, but wanted to donate. I just tried to make a donation too, but couldn't figure out how to? I clicked on "donate here", but it took me to a page that said to click the donate button below, but there isn't one?
Tried several times, but kept getting routed back to the same place that doesn't work.

The yellow "Donate"   button  after following the assra.com/donate link  will take you to the PayPal site.   I could not figure out any other way to configure it.  I would have liked to link  it from the Forum, but my skills are limited.  Should look like the one below, but the one below is non functional

It will be a sticky soon

And for those who won't touch PayPal with a barge pole will the donate button accommodate other methods of funding  ?

Has anyone clicked on the link in the first original post and had it take you to a "yellow donate" link? Or to any way to donate by credit card? Still can't get there, even going to the ASSRA home page and there's a "star" with "donate here" next to it that doesn't work either.

I highly encourage this.  This is a great forum, I think underestimated by many of the users.

We've become accustomed to things on the internet being free, because of the advertising and probably more concerning, the website selling your information.

There are real costs and no revenue stream for websites such as this one.

I sent in a check for what I figured was my fair use of the site last year.  I'd suggest more like 5 percent for sales, that's what you'd pay on gunbroker, and 1/3 of what you'd pay on ebay.  For a more focused audience here.  And a great informative website.

Vall,
All the links worked great for me.
This is the order they took me.  Pictures.

First I clicked the yellow in the first post.

Then the Yellow button on the next page.

Took me to the third picture that allowed either Paypal, credit card or debit card.

Worked great.

I just tried the credit/debit card link and it also worked.  Took me to a page where you can fill in all your information.

That's where it goes south for me Bob! I click the yellow in the post, but it doesn't take me to any page like your second page shows! I get the 2nd page just like that, but nothing at the bottom of the page!
I tried to copy the page to show what I got, and after copying it I looked at it and the copy shows the various links at the bottom. Weird. Seems my computer is blocking those when it opens, and I can't see them unless I copy it. And of course a copy of the page doesn't let me click on anything in the image.
I'll see if my ad blocker I have can be disabled to try it again, or if there's something else blocking it.

Took some doing to get around it, but finally got through and made a small donation!

Thanks Alan, worked for me.  I need a reminder once in a while.
