For sale is an oddity that has a special place in history. What most confuse for a chassepot or gras is actually Kynochs attempt to win a government contract to convert chassepot rifles to metallic cartridge. Kynoch venture failed to attract a buyer and the outcome of these rifles in largely unknown.

What I do know is that these rifles are very capable and loads of fun to shoot. The 43-77-380 stamped on this rifle is actually .43 spanish which this rifle chambers and fires readily.   

This rifle is in VG condition with a VG bore.
