It looks quite similar to my Zischang molds other than the venting Zischang did.  Too bad his name doesn't have quite the same collector status  Smiley

It's a .39 caliber which is quite uncommon. I have a Pope 39-55 and would love to have the mould but it is way over priced. For $600 I would purchase it.

Thank God I don't have a Pope rifle.

I stopped buying Pope molds around here when they went up to $10. Now they just sit in the back of a drawer getting rusty. Roll Eyes

Chris.

Pope also did venting for an extra charge over his standard molds. I have a nicely vented .28 Pope mold. I've never paid over $375 for any of my Pope or Schoyen molds. There's a few on Ebay who constantly list these crazy prices, but I don't see any of them ever selling.
