That rabbit hole is not to be feared.  It is a welcoming technique you will find applicable to more than just the .461 No. 1 Gibbs.

Many years ago (November 2009) I wrote a short tutorial on paper patched bullets that I self-published on my website.  It's not well-known, but those who have read it have generally given me favorable comments.  For what it's worth, here is a link:  (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

The methods I describe in my article are the methods I still follow.  I have loaded and fired thousands of paper-patched bullets.

So cut some paper, get your fingers wet, and start loading cartridges for these rifles that they were designed to shoot.
