17 Ackley Bee Question

Has anybody fire formed 17 Ackley Bee cases without a bullet?  Please help.

This is back 30 years! I had quite afew .17's. Would take a chunky Christmas candle. A couple grains fast burning powder then shove the case into the candle for my plug. Do some testing,you'll find the right amount to almost fireform it out.then load   a couple grains below max .A good squirrel close range load.....to blow them out Try .  check Forum below.
