Need to increase the tension on the base to barrel. Can I bend this slightly or will it just break?

Rear sight flops a bit installed.

One of my favorite sights. I believe you will be able to bend the sight, preferably over a round bar to spread the pressure. This depends primarily on the amount required. There are other options such as a shim, but again depending on the amount necessary. And with by no i any choice, go slow!

I managed to get a little more tension. Just tweaked it a little. It might need a touch more. Thanks.

It's going on a H&A 922 I picked up missing the rear sight. Now to find a tang sight.

Nifty  those are nice small rifles. One passed my way so many years ago best not to mention how many. Another I should have kept. Possibly the one that you now are caretaker of? Enjoy it!!

Started looking at them on GB. Didn't realize they had a serial number. This one is 352, 3 digit. Maybe really early but who knows.
