I just bought one on a 44 1/2. Looks to be a very nice build likely done in the fifties. I will have it in a few days. Have to make cases now. Fortunately I have some 25-20SS cases ordered. Thought about making them from 223 and might make some eventually but right now I chose the easy way. Quickload has the cartridge in there if you use that program.

Just received mine. Excellent condition. The barrel is definitely a 16 twist (ex) rimfire barrel like many are. I ordered some Hornady 40gr VMAX pills hoping it will shoot those reasonably accurate. At least don't have to cast bullets for this one. Smiley
