Yes but as mentioned before the forager carbines were done in a shotgun gage, I’ve seen 20 ga. Mentioned in the books but not a 50-70 buckshot load.

Wonder if you can get 50 cal sabot's and see how it does...kinda like Tank main guns.

Probably could try muzzleloader .50 sabots. They're easy to find.

Was already ahead of y’all’s recommendation, dug out some 50cal sabots earlier today to see if it would work and looks like I’ll go play with it some and see what it does. Can’t hurt nothin to try it!!!
