Almost UNobtanium

I have a Lyman 48, too, a longslide, w/o the sliding elevation marker,
but with the screw.
I figure only way to "fix" that is to fashion a new marker
beltfed/arnie

Yeah, that's hard stuff to find.  Short of making a pointer, the best bet would be finding the cheapest 48 you can find and rob the pieces you need from it.

As luck would have it, I have a couple of those.
Got them years ago from Garry Fellers in Ft. Worth.

The screws are the hard item.
