If it's a T 36 with target knobs it's a nice scope sought after by many. I would not repair one myself. Send it to Ackermans shop, I think his daughter is doing the work now.

Will look a specific address etc.

Internet has a lot of old Bill Ackerman references. He designed the T scope for Weaver, opened his own shop when Weaver went foreign with their scopes. His Daughter Cheryl continued when he passed and believe she still does T scope work in Santa Teresa NM. I had 3 T scopes when shooting High Power and Small Bore silhouette absolutely reliable. Used Ackerman to clean and change reticles on two. Internet search comes up with other optical shops that repair vintage Weavers too.

If it's an Asian made Weaver T my advice is get rid of it. One I owned T 15, adjustments could not be trusted cost scores several matches when changing distances. Ended up putting it on a 10 M air rifle for indoor practice.  No need to charge adjustments.
