4570Mike that is a gorgeous rifle. Really like the band on the barrel. Mine has wooden panels (part of the stock wood) instead of the black horn ones. I wanted to do horn but got impatient to finish it.

Thanks for your comments.  It’s one of my favorites.  The receiver panels are ebony wood. It’s lightly engraved and who ever did the work was an artist. I don’t think Al Story is doing them any more.  Like with classic cars; better to buy someone else’s restoration.  I couldn’t afford to have this built today (or yesterday).
