Another with a sleeved chamber because it was demilled by gouging the chamber with a cutting torch. This one is a great shooter and I have beaten several national records with it but not in a registered match so the scores don't count. I've got a '68 and a custom sporter model with a more modern stock.

  I had a trapdoor many years ago some idiot welded a blob in the chamber. I wound up parting it out many years ago. Up until then I only thought europeans silly enough to destroy rifles like that.

This is as close as I have to the topic.
Built this Gemmer about 10 years ago from a Hawken muzzleloader kit and some spare parts…

That is some seriously beautiful work you did there. Is your muzz loader barrel not too large a bore diameter for caliber ?.

Thank you,
Never had a barrel when I got the parts. Only had a stock, trigger group, rear tang, trigger guard, and most of the lock parts. Had to find or make the rest of the parts…used a Badger barrel….
