Of course I wouldn't be here if I was't an enthusiast. I was taught at an early age that one shot was one kill and one thrill. I still have my first, a Savage 72 Crackshot and two Ruger #1's in 204 and 6mm Rem.
I also have and chrerish a Browning 1885 in 45/70.
But if I had to bring it down to
just one
, it would be my Anschutz 64 single shot with iron peep sights.
Using wolf ammo and CCI copper plated stingers.
9 out 10 in the center ring at 100 yds!

5 years ago, only had two single shots in the family, now there's several. Similar to you, my current favorite is my 22, BSA Martini here

Looks like a Anschutz 250 air rifle.
A blind squirrel runs into a tree every once in a while.

My first indoor target rifle was an Anschutz 64, I think I was 17 when I bought it.
Later graduated to a BSA Mk2.
