sounds like it might be a rimmed version of a 7TCU jr., doesn't it?

The CPA Version?

It is a rimmed 222, straight tapered to a .285 bullet. More like a 30-30 Wesson. 357 maximum could also work but is a little short.

Seems to have pretty good potential, have not spent enough time with it. Works well with the MOS Mould CPA sells and also the 135 grain Hoch.

Thanks for the replies. The cases (.222R) are available from Northern Shooters Supply and I want rimmed case for a 44 1/2 action. Just an idea percolating. Appreciate all input.
