This rifle was made for, and probaly saw action in the Boer War.
It is in very good condition, with only a small defect at the muzzle...
what looks like a single strike of a bayonet or a sabre.  The stock is in very good condition, and all functions are as designed. There were only 7000 of these rifles made, and most were destroyed at the end of
the war.  $1800.00 shipped to your Conus address.  No FFL required.
Thanks for looking, edbu.

That is a very nice looking, clean ZAR rifle. Should be a  good shooter.

I wonder how that dent in the muzzle occurred.

That dent across the muzzle sure looks like it could
have been
intentional
Too bad, for such a nice Martini

I suppose the "dent" could have been an intentional try at disabling the rifle as a shooter.  On the other hand, someone swings a sword at me and I push whatever I've got in his face.
