If you ever considered buying one of the finest powder measures ever made, better order it by 12-26-25! Harrells is closing their doors and retiring, and appears nobody is taking over this fine business!

Update! Turns out a former employee is buying the business and it will remain in business! Sorry for the bad info originally!

Buffalo Arms has them cheaper than factory direct.  By 11 cents.
I picked up a spare Schuetzen measure a couple of years back so I am good.  That wouldn't stop me from buying a third if the opportunity arises.

I love my Scheutzen measure, but the capacity is too small for larger cases. I recently got the BPCR that goes to over 100 grains.

Free shipping. Count me in. I think they were $225 when I bought my first one.

That was a lot of money in 1934.

That's too bad.  I have one of their measures and it gives about 0.1gr IMR-4227 per click.   I have a line on a used Schuetzen one that has finer resolution.  Is there any point in going finer than 0.1gr?

Chris.

I have two Harrell measures one an early large capacity model and a Schuetzen. Each has its strengths mostly along drop size lines. The Schuetzen is ideal for small volumes drops, early model best for larger volume drops.

Add my Belding and Mull for Black Powder I’m set.

I also have two Harrell’s measures. One is the schutzen measure and the other is a larger capacity?. I do use a belding & mall for black powder. Harrells used to send them out with a bill. Very nice people to do business with..

The larger is the Premium BR. I have both also. The scheutzen for smaller cases or charges, and the BR for larger charges.
