Custom JGS reamer 22-357 Maximum with removable pilot.
I had this reamer custom ground because I wanted the equivalent to the old 222 rimmed without the issue of brass availability and custom dies. The case is based on the 357 maximum. The brass is run into a standard 222 Remington sizing die in 3 steps. You end up with a rimmed 222 with the neck approximately .09 shorter than a factory case. A standard 222 Remington headspace gauge is used when chambering. And standard 222 Remington dies are used for the complete loading process using 222 Remington data. I have formed over 200 cases and only lost 8 during the forming process. This is a great little cartridge for a strong single shot action requiring a rim. I have chambered 2 Cadet Martini actioned barrels and 1 Ruger #1. The reamer is still very sharp and ready for the next chambering job. $165.00 shipped. Please feel free to PM me with any questions.
