	Looking for a vintage person to ID an old Lyman sight or a younger person who is familiar with vintage Lyman sights. This sight is marked Lyman Reg US Pat Off on the top and Pat Nov 5 1907 on the base. The base screw is slotted and fits a dimpled block like would be used for an old Winchester scope mount.

	So the vintage guy who knows vintage sights chimes in. A win win. The globe portion is dovetailed into the base. Oldere than my other front sights. Thanks Vall

	Pretty sure it is very rare. I probably traded a high wall action for it.

	Not sure when or where I got that sight. It has quite a few inserts which are the standard 17A size.

	Jack, another known troublemaker... That's a perty old beat up sight. Can't be worth much. What'r ya gonna do with it? Now that you have a shootin eye. Might best put it on one of your Winchesters. You won't have to keep swappin sights back and forth onto all them Winchesters. That's what wears um out.
