WTS: Martini Cadet

Up for grabs is a BSA Martini Cadet, .310 Cadet. Complete, as-issued with an excellent bore, action is tight and crisp. The detriments: a previous owner let it acquire some surface rust which largely disappeared with TLC on my part, and they thoughtfully varnished the wood.

My intent was to have it re-bored to .35 and chamber for .38/.357 to create a fun little plinker. Conversely, loading and shooting .310 Cadet ammo was another option. Since I already have Cadets that fill those niches I concluded that I really didn't need another one, so I'm admitting my mistake in buying it and offering it up cheap for someone else's pleasure!

$450 + actual shipping.

Sorry, the stock markings are gone. (Not by my hand.) The inventory number (separate from serial number which is 82627) starts with "WA" which means "West Australia"?

Thank you I thought that I was finished when I got two Tasmanian rifles a few weeks ago. Then did a list and found I must have sold the South Australia type two that was on my list. Made a mistake should have checked thought I had both of them on hand.
Almost tempted to get it as the price is good.
cheers,
Laurie

My Cadet came thru Klein's in Chicago. They bored it out and
chambered it to 357 Magnum. As a teenager, I had pored/drooled over the ads from Kleins in the Am. Rifleman mag.  A few years ago, I found a .357mag Kleins Cadet.
It is indeed a fun gun.  I load usual 357 loads if the Keith
162 gr SWC, and also load the Lyman 357318 200gr RN
rifle bullet over IMR 4227 or Herc 2400. Both loads are very accurate and fun.

O thank goodness it sold. I was thinking about it but it would be cadet number 3 and number 2 hasn't even arrived from the seller yet. Im close enough I could have drove to pick this one up.
