Up for grabs is a BSA Martini Cadet, .310 Cadet. Complete, as-issued with an excellent bore, action is tight and crisp. The detriments: a previous owner let it acquire some surface rust which largely disappeared with TLC on my part, and they thoughtfully varnished the wood.

My intent was to have it re-bored to .35 and chamber for .38/.357 to create a fun little plinker. Conversely, loading and shooting .310 Cadet ammo was another option. Since I already have Cadets that fill those niches I concluded that I really didn't need another one, so I'm admitting my mistake in buying it and offering it up cheap for someone else's pleasure!

$450 + actual shipping.

I want it if is a type 2 from South Australia. Need it to fill a hole in my collection. Can you post pictures of the stock markings?
Cheers,
Laurie

Sorry, the stock markings are gone. (Not by my hand.) The inventory number (separate from serial number which is 82627) starts with "WA" which means "West Australia"?

Thank you I thought that I was finished when I got two Tasmanian rifles a few weeks ago. Then did a list and found I must have sold the South Australia type two that was on my list. Made a mistake should have checked thought I had both of them on hand.
Almost tempted to get it as the price is good.
cheers,
Laurie
