you don't often here about the 5.6 X 50R or the rim less version but here is mine. 
26" octagon to round barrel and a 6 power vintage Lyman.
The Lyman or Leopold fixed power are ideal for these little rifles. Smaller rear end to give you a little bit more room for the cartridge.
A 222, 223 and a 5.6 X 50R.

OH, I like that! Would have been just the ticket for prairie dogs up in Montana back in the day. I used a .223 that'd once been a .222 bench gun. Awful hefty to lug out into a hillside perch.
