Got an S23 samsung while back and the picture resize feature is different than my previous models. I have googled how to use mine and no help. Is there a simple resize mojo I can download for free? Thank you for the help. JAP

I have been using just MS-Paint for years. I paste a pic I know fits paste the new pic on top of that then reduce it to just cover the 1st pic. WaLa.

Tap the 2nd from the left icon at the bottom next to the heart. It crops pictures. Then tap the 3 dots upper right corner to see the resize menu item.

I use Imgur picture hosting that's free. Once I load my pictures there it has 6 sizes of pictures to choose from when you want to insert a link in a forum thread. I usually use next to the biggest, which is labeled "large thumbnail".
It's very easy to load pictures, regardless of initial size, and then use the links for thread posts.

Long time Mac guy here. I use the Preview app on my desktop and just email phone pics so I can save them and crop, adjust exposure etc. before resizing for the forum.
Extra work but better results.

I have the same phone. From your gallery, viewing the picture, hit the pencil icon to edit. Then hit the 3 dots in the upper right, then click "resize". The pictures here were resized to 20%
