QB15, I'm surprised you haven't gotten an answer to your question yet. I know there are guys shooting and making .30 Schwartz as I see them listed in the match scores. Hang tight, someone will eventually get you the information.

On a separate note, and I don't mean to piss anyone off, but the OP wanted info on .30 Schwartz and all of a sudden, other questions are being asked about other brass and it's hard to follow who is answering which questions. Can we please show a little curtesy to the OP (any OP) and keep the replies to the topic under discussion/ question asked?

Dellet, thank you for the advice on sizing for the .30 Schwartz, I really appreciate it!! Forgot to state it, but all the brass shown in my picture was formed from 30-30 brass.

I contemplated buying "The Modern Schuezten Rifle" that was just for sale here on ASSRA but wasn't sure what, if any information it had on the .30 Schwartz. Guess I should have jumped on it.

Probably not worth buying just for the information on the Schwartz cartridges. I drug my copy out and that is not where I read about the forming process, I’ll keep looking.

If you look at the photo you posted the difference between what fits and what doesn’t is pretty clear, the base of the ones that don’t fit, have a strait.420”’section, where yours is tapered all the way to the base. You might gain some by pressing the case all the way into a standard 32-40 die to the rim.

The one tidbit in the Modern Schuetzen Rifle I had forgotten was that JGS did make a reamer. So that print be possible to obtain.

Below are the dimensions and a couple loads from the appendix in the book.

Thanks again Dellet, I appreciate the dimension and load info!!  I will also contact JGS about the reamer print.

I’ve been hesitant in doing a chamber cast because I really don’t want to take the gun apart but the sooner I get that done the better…

FYI, I called JGS today, they said they didn't have a 30 Schwartz reamer.

Someone, somewhere must have made one as I was loaned the designers reamer. Sorry I don't recall the reamer makers name. Quite possible the designer Mr. Schwartz made it. You might try calling other reamer makers.

Wayne chambered a low wall for me in his #2 version several years ago.. He told me to use 30-30 Wesson dies from C&H and 357 Max cases which I did. Worked fine. Dimensions are almost the same.

Same experience Here, but with Neal Rice watching over my shoulder while cutting the chambers. One in a Douglas blank, the other in a Pfeifer blank. A good design and accurate, but still needed my good friend Neal over my shoulder for guidance and encouragement!!

I don't know anything about the 30 Schwartz but, I made my own 30 cal/357 Max chamber and have done a couple of other chamber drawings for the 30 Max case.

The drawing I'm posting may be similar to the 30 Schwartz if, it is a BSing only chamber. You can send this drawing to a reamer maker and they will be able to make it.
