.22LR Bullet Drop From 100 to 200 Yards?
Print Post
This coming weekend I'll be headed for the range to establish a 200 yard zero for my .22LR for the upcoming .22 National Match in January. From what I've found online, it looks like I'll need to add elevation for about 40 inches to go from my 100 yard zero to be on at 200 yards. Does that seem about right to you guys who shoot .22LR rifles at 200 yards?
Thank you in advance for any help.

There are indeed two Americas. Simply put, it is not the haves and have nots. The two Americans are in reality divided into those who do and those who don't.

on my .22 with a lyman 6X scope, from 100 to 200 I have to come up 29 minutes. My 100 setting on the lyman mount is 131 and the 200 setting is 190.
Hope this helps.

Sam,

Are you sure about the 29 minutes?  I've been shooting .22BPCR for many years & my average adjustment from the pigs (100 meters) to the rams (200 meters) is 18.5 to 19 MOA.

BTW, I use a 6X scope with a 7.2" base spacing.  At the last match my 100M setting was 0.046" & 200M was 0.083".  0.002" (2 marks) of adjustment is 1MOA.

I do get around 28 to 29MOA from the chickens (50 meters) to the rams (200 meters).
