There are indeed two Americas. Simply put, it is not the haves and have nots. The two Americans are in reality divided into those who do and those who don't.

From 100 yards to 200 yards, I come up 18 minutes with Match velocity ammunition.

I hold center, squeeze, look for the hit. It's usually in the white or bottom of the black at 6 o'clock. Three more shots to confirm, then correct to the center.

If there is no hit on the first shot, I hold the top of the target and look for the hit in the center of the target. Then crank on 4 MOA to assure the shot is visible. Back to the center hold and corrections to the center.

One bad habit I developed at 200 yards was looking for the bullet while it was in the air. With the Sun behind you and little crosswind, you can see the track and predict the hit. This habit meant I was not performing a complete follow-through.

Wayne, that is what I had written down in my book from sighting in. that was with SK Pistol match Special. The scope is a lyman jts. 6x
That is what I have written down, over the weekend I will look and see if I have a score sheet from a match I shot and see if the numbers are different. they may be. I do know I was kind of disapointed with some of the ammo I had tried. Some shot really really good at 100, pretty good at 150 and then the wheels fell off at 200.

I really like the idea of KNOWING the gun/sight combination settings for various ranges.  Shooting M14 we'd go 8 clicks up (from bottoming out) at 200, 10 at 200, and 12-13 for 600.  Made it a no-brainer in QUICKLY making the adjustment for different range targets.

Yes, I shoot that .22 with a scope (Hi-Lux Malcolm 20X). It's a Cody Ballard BR rifle for Schuetzen. For Schuetzen we shoot at 100 yds but the upcoming .22 National Match has an event at 200. I need to establish a 200 yd zero so I can get in some practice before the match.
Thank you for the elevation info.

Give me your honest opinion about the Hi-lux Malcolm.  I assume that you shoot more as a competitor than as a casual shooter.  I like the appearance of the Hi-Lux bit I like the Unertl, the Lyman Super target better.  All of those very pricey and that's why I don't own any right now.  They're all appropriate for my original 1885 Lo-Wall, and will add value to the rifle should I ever decide to sell it.  In the meantime I'll have to stick with my Marble tang sight and my Beech folding combination sits.

My .22 BSA needs 75 clicks up from 100 to 200 with a 25X Lyman Super Targetspot. My 32-40 high walls take approx 45 clicks for the same ranges.

From 100 add 20 minutes, you'll be real close.

Years ago i asked the same question so i sighted in at 200 yds. Put up a clean sheet of paper at 100 yds. 3/4” dot at the bottom of the paper,  using federal UM 1. Unertl 16x. On an BSA international All shots were 18”. High. My suggestion is do the same  with what you are using and count your scope clicks to adjust your scope for that particular rifle.  One side note , write it down and or take a picture so you can repeat it

Another bit of trivia. I was shooting a 22 match today with a guy that had a really nice HiWall Winder 22 LR. It had a Krag barrel sight on it. For 100 meters he set the Krag sight to 1400 yards.
