Looking for an action

I am looking for an action to play with while I’m working on my first set of Storie castings. Not really particularly picky, just looking for something to turn into a nice rifle. Would consider about anything. Would like to have something to build a 25-20 SS. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Probably not what you want, but I have a long lever Martini Henry action.  The gentleman who sold it to me said he hoped I did more with it than put it a drawer for future use as I could die and my wife would toss it in a garage sale for $15.  It’s yours for$275 shipped.

I have a nice centerfire Stevens 44 action. It belongs to a friend who asked me to sell it for him. He wants $350 for it.

I have a double set trigger Stevens 44/47 action for sale.  Or, a plain trigger 44 centerfire action.

Original Stevens 44 actions are cast, 44 1/2's are forged.

I've got a bunch of Stevens 44 and 44 1/2 barrels my friend gave me to sell also. A couple are like new, but most are somewhat worn externally but many have excellent bores. I need to finish figuring out what they all are, and sell them here in the FS section cheap.

I have a Remington #2 action with centerfire block. It came to me in a package deal. The breech block looks new, so it is a mix of parts project. #2s are sweet. I have one in .25-20SS. $175 shipped to a US address.

Coleat4440 - 3 others are interested in this action if you are not. You have first refusal. Please respond by Thursday, 6:00pm eastern time. After that it will go to the next in line.

I have thirteen #2 Remingtons, I know I'll never use this. Glad to see it go to someone who will use it.

Steve
