I suppose I should mention something about the variety of the early ones of this model as they changed rapidly over just a few years. I was in Thomas Bland's shop in London and had a discussion with his gunsmith about getting mine rebarreled. He said that he would advise against it as the early ones went through a lot of changes and they were perfectly fine with their original chamberings but he had seen a rebarreled one in 22 Hornet develop problems as the block was soft (again, perfectly fine in the original chambering) and the Hornet had backed into the block. Perhaps it was the heat treatment or the hammer/firing pin combo in that model had required a large area to be  opened in the block leaving the area right around the firing pin hole to less supported (the area the Hornet was sitting on) than the area that was supporting larger cartridges.
