Vall,

I keep a 5 page list of Internet abbreviations handy, although I'm sure it's not all inclusive.  If one has a good memory of the common abbreviations & is adept at using a smart phone, i.e, "smart phone fingers", a conversation can be carried on without ever spelling an actual word.

Curses foiled again! I'm no good with a smart phone either Wayne! I still type on my laptop and phone with two fingers. No apps on my phone and it only gets used for phone calls, text messages (if they're short) and taking a picture.

earlier this morning I sent Vall a photo of an automobile that my sister sent me on the phone. I did not have a clue as to sending it to him because I couldn't get the phone with my photo to open the pic and show this site to send a PM.
So, I texted it to my daughter, and asked for her to email, not text it to me. That one I know how to handle. So, that pic was at four separate places in a few minutes, but not as a display of how fast the nether net is- or efficient. Glad to hear I'm in similar minded company.

Email is a much easier tool for images in my opinion.  When I yake photos to post here with my phone, I email them to myself and open them on my Mac.  Then I crop, adjust brightness, contrast etc and resize before saving for forum posting.
