Their Home page won't open for some reason for me. If I try Montana Vintage Arms scopes it opens on that page. Them you can look at whatever else you want to by clicking on the different items at the top of the page..

If your rifle is not in 7.62 and you can't hit what you are aiming at with de-linked machinegun ammo you are a pretender.

My anti-virus software blocks their site. Have not been able to access it from my computer for a very long time. I called and mentioned it to them but no improvement.

Most anti-virus programs allow you to choose sites and mark them as OK to access.

Spoke with them yesterday
My bet is there’s something going on with the OP computer as he has a thread on another forum about not being able to get SPG site to work.

Although it's not the case with MVA, more & more sites are blocking access if you use a VPN, which I do use & had no problems getting on the MVA website.

Wayne

A VPN, or Virtual Private Network, enhances online privacy and security by creating a secure, encrypted connection over a less secure network, like the internet. It masks your IP address, making it harder for websites and online services to track your browsing activity and location. VPNs also encrypt your internet traffic, protecting your data from being intercepted by hackers or your internet service provider (ISP).

The chance of anyone working at MVA knowing anything about VPNs or Virus software is slim to none and Slim left town. It is the responsibility of their Internet Service Provider (ISP) to address those issues. A property configured security certificate coupled with the site using HTTPS protocol should take care of security concerns. Those of us who were on this forum when it switched from unsecured HTTP protocol to HTTPS will remember the issues that some people were having. It is a crappy virus program that can’t handle the sort of issues that that one user is having.  That said, I still remember the comment from a speaker at a presentation on network security when one person asked if his small company could rely on a software VPN or if he should invest in an expensive hardware solution. The answer was that he was probably too small of a fish in a big ocean to be targeted by ‘expert’ hackers anyway. I worked for the Washington DOT and we were targeted constantly.

AI will address that shortcoming, if it hasn't already.

I bet you've been waiting for just the right opportunity to share that bit of wisdom.  Roll Eyes Grin
