	For Sale: Marlin Ballard No. 1 1/2 Hunter’s Rifle Serial No.: 14435; caliber: .45-70 Govt; 28” tapered round barrel with a bright excellent bore. The barrel and receiver are both matching serial numbers. The barrel’s rust-blued finish is original. The action retains about 97%+ original case-colors showing a little sparse fine speckling and subtle muting, the right side with a small area of light dings. The walnut buttstock and forearm are in very good to excellent condition. They may be very lightly cleaned but show scattered very light handling marks. There are minor hairline cracks forming where the stock meets the frame and a couple of thin scratches along the left side buttstock near the buttplate. The crescent rifle buttplate is darker patina. This rifle has seen very little use. Price: $3,900 includes shipping vis US Priority Mail. First "I'll take it" posted here gets it. Thank you, Joe D
