Now that some brass is available, it is a good time to sell my Stevens 44.  It is an original rifle in good condition with a bright bore in good condition.  There is some light pitting but the rifling is strong and I have been able to shoot 1.5" groups at 100 yds using Western Bullets RCBS bullets.  The pictures show the condition.  Some mottling on the metal surfaces.  The wood is in very good condition.  The action functions perfectly.  It has been sitting in the back of my safe whining whenever I take another rifle out to shoot.  Included is approximately 60 pieces of mixed used brass which includes 10 loaded rds (9 gr 4227).
Asking $600 plus shipping to your FFL.

I haven’t lost all my marbles yet but there is definitely a hole in the bag somewhere.
