Anybody have a copy of ,  ' Shooting The 43 Spanish Rolling Block ' by Croft Barker they'd be willing to sell. None of my old reliable book weasels have one. Never any shortage before when I let several copies go to them, but now ?

Hope I’m not being rude, but can’t post my own WTB, but if a second copy is by chance available I would dearly love to find one, thanks, Frank

Wow two shoppers both with O/Zero posts looking for the same book. When I had this book years ago nobody wanted them and now it's a ' gotta have ' printing.

I had a copy of it.  Read it and it then sold it on fleabay.  It was a good primer for someone who has never loaded BP before and was going to start with the 43 Spanish.
Do you want a book for your library or are you wanting to know something in particular?

Cheers,
Steve

Not looking to fill shelf space but looking for info on those Argentine Rolling Blocks. There is a lot of confusing info on these rifles, chambering and barrel specs. I have carbine saddle rifle I've never got in to. When some brass became available from Dave Plummer I bought some and figured this book could answer some questions. I had the book years ago in a large book buy but didn't need it then and frankly don't recall if it's even useful. But I want a copy now

I came into an Argentine RB, very clean with what appears to be an excellent bore, and some brass. Having never shot much less reloaded BPC, so I thought this book might be helpful, but have been gleaning the information I need from other sources  —

Back before the misinformation highway I bought a factory reconditioned Argentine rolling block from Ye Ole Hunter for $14.95 (c1960 or 61).   Original ammo was $5.00 per 100.   When I ran out, I reloaded with a Lyman 310 tool and a Lyman 439186 (?) bullet.  Just filled the cases with FFFg.  The .254 Berdan primers were available.  No rocket science needed.  No books or other help available so I just winged it.   Worked out fine.   You don't really need a special book for this sort of stuff as long as you stick to the original propellent.
