Greetings, one and all!
New to the board. Joined as I own 6 Sharps pieces.
5 modern replicas and one original Sharps Borchardt.
Trying to identify my original.
Would post pics but so new here, not sure how to upload picz yet.
Hopefully can get smarter on these older pieces.
Welcome ALL recommendations from the group knowledge.
Never to old to learn.
Just meed to figure out when to remove foot from mouth!

Well you certainly came to the barn with plenty of horses but this is not your typical firearms forum.   First of all, you're not likely to find a friendlier tribe for all from neophyte to scientific inquisitive. But even more this forum is a collective of so many levels of experience and knowledge you're always smart to think twice before asking or answering. So buckle up my new friend and take a ride to ' I didn't know that ' land.

Hi Hawk,  when you post you will see  "Attachments" tab  on the lower left, next to that  a "Browse" button.  Click on the Browse button and find the photo  on your device that you want posted.  For more photos, click the Attachments button again and it gives you another Browse button.   The photos have to be less that 500KB, so you may have to resize them using  whatever app you use to look at photos.   A bit of a pain but keeps the posts easier to view.  Hope that helps,

What caliber is your Borchardt? Does it have added wood side panels?

There are a lot of what is called "enablers" here. The reason I say that is they have enabled myself and a lot of others to realize some great purchases and or builds. There is a LOT of experience here that involves building these fine old pieces and also helping with the history of them as well. If there is anyone who can help you find out about your Borchardt these people can.
