I tried bringing that Ebay listing up without using the link, and it still comes up as $51 for some reason? What's Ebay got against me?

sureshot is right.  eBay knows the zip of both the seller and buyer and will calculate the cost based it seems on what eBay will charger if you buy the postage from them which reflects their volume discount (like Pirate Ship).  If you manually specify a shipping cost that will be the same to all locations.  I see the same as Marlinguy.  We are both on the left coast.

AND, unlike most online vendors, eBay charges sales tax on shipping as well.  The final value figure upon which eBay bases its selling fee includes the final bid price + shipping + sales tax.  This is to keep sellers from advertising low prices with VERY high shipping to save money on the final value price. That is why I prefer to sell here if possible.
