Ballard Rifle and Cartridge Co. #1-1/2 Hunter’s Rifle.  Cal. 38-55.  30”, full octagon, #3 Badger barrel.  1:15” twist. Grove 0.376”; bore 0.368”.  Chamber cut for 2.08” shells.  Factory blade front sight and rear tang sight.  No cut for barrel sight.  Drilled and tapped for scope blocks 10-5/8” +/- spacing.
Very attractive wood and color case.  Shows very little wear.  A few minor impressions in the wood.  Metal finish is 95%+.  LOP 14”.
Bore is bright and shiny with no defects visible.
Excellent single trigger.  Action locks up tight.
Comes with 50, W-W 38-55 cases used with this rifle. Also, includes factory invoice and test fire sheet.
All the Cody Ballard’s were made to a very high standard and this one is no exception.
