Traditional S S Steven’s 44 1/2 Varmint Rifle

Here is a rifle I built in 1985. It is a .222 Rem. rimmed. (On the .357 max. case) w/a Douglas bbl. 1:14” twist. I sold or traded it about 10 years ago & bought it back last month. I remembered it as being a “good shooter “!
Then last Monday 6/9 I took it out to the range to see how it would do & had no trouble keeping it in 1/2” @ 100 yds w/a 40 grn. Nosler spiitzer chrono’d @ 3325 fps!
As I expect to be accessing several cut hayfields in the next few weeks I may have a chance @ an unwily coyote or two. Think this rifle might work OK?
Note: The bbl. on this Stevs. is not nearly as heavy as it appears in this crappy photo as I caught a shadow line along the top of the barrel  Sorry.

Nice looking rig. If I were a coyote, I'd be nervous.
