Price Reduction  A Ballard rifle manufactured by the Ballard Rifle Company of Cody, Wyoming.  This beauty is what they called the Far West model.  It is in 45-70 caliber with a 30” Badger Barrel 18 twist barrel. The barrel was factory drilled and tapped on 7.2” centers.  It is equipped with double set triggers and wooden inserts in the lever.  The case colors are beautiful and have a protective finish.  There are just a couple of scratches and a ding in the buttstock.  There are some fine scratches on the right side of the receiver in the laquer finish but not through it.  Sights include a Hoke Long Range on the rear with an MVA Hadley and a Baldwin front sight.  It currently has a silhouette stock on it or I can remove it and replace it with the original style Far West stock.  The price is $3250 with sights or I can remove the sights and sell it for $2650 shipped through FEDEX from my dealer to yours, The first “I’ll take it” followed by a PM.  Questions by PM please.

Well Bob, I hate to see it go. I was hoping it would still be around after I sell my Sharps. It’s a beautiful rifle!

That is one exceptional Rifle. If this was either 32-20 or 32-40
I would have sold off and made room in my safe but that 45-70 in a light rifle is beyond my recoil threshold.

Anyone know the approximate cost to put a liner in it.
Yes I know that is probably heresy for purists...
