On a Lyman super target spot scope can a person remove the parallax adjustment sleeve to clean and rubricate the threads without screwing something up?  Mine feels like the lube is dried out.

Yes, the front lock ring/sunshade unscrews and then the adjustment sleeve unscrews.  The lens holder will have to be carefullly pulled out. The hard part is putting the lens holder back in. There is a very small tit that the lens holder has to align with so it slide back in. Its hard to see but you can feel it with your finger.

Thanks feels like tar instead of lube on threads and lens holder.  Charlie

Thank you I took it apart and cleaned it, oiled it and works like it should.
