I used one in Bismarck ND in 2005. Even then I only knew 3 people without a cell phone. One of them being me.

I think my home town of Absarokee just finally removed theirs last winter after they got the new cell tower in place.  Maybe it two years ago Grin

I saw 2 last week at the Kalaloch lodge on the Washington coast.  Up until 4 years or so ago there was no cell reception there.
