Lynn, it is not a set trigger.  Had to check that out today when I got back in my shop.  The trigger pull seems nice though and not overly heavy.

Yes they would elevate the scope but, I don’t know about a standard amount.  If you take a look at the pictures of this mount, in my screw repair post, in the gunsmith section, you can see elevation numbers on the adjustable rod.
