Beautiful rifle! Which model receiver is that? Mine is a "J", and that one seems flatter on the sides?

That is a good looking action, similar to the Stevens 44 1/2.

There are indeed two Americas. Simply put, it is not the haves and have nots. The two Americans are in reality divided into those who do and those who don't.

I took my first attempt at making some cases from 38-55. I lost some at first but as I got more experience, it went smoother. A few early ones got too much lube and had some dents in the cases. However, all good, I managed to get them chambered and after firing, the dents were fire formed out. I found a pound of 5744 on the back of my shelf so I loaded some of them and some with Unique. I shot them at 50 yards and everything shot well. I am confident that the rifle can realistically get into the 1.5 MOA area with the right load. Very happy with the rifle in all respects.

Thank you. I had never handled a FBW before and am impressed with it, well made.
