I got mine done like Crown-C, and still made the driver's eye test with flying colors. Just hit seventy-nine. I can read in good light without cheaters and still see most all things up near or in the distance. I don't recall a discussion with my ophamologist, but he was a man who knew me pretty well and just did what was, apparently, the right thing. If you want to be certain, let the doctor know so he can accommodate. Your are going to be delighted with the results.
I can still thread a line into the eye of a fly, see who crosses the line at a dragstrip and enjoy the beauty of my granddaughters. Good enough for this ol' desert rat.

Right eye done yesterday, toric lenses. Close and mid vision good already, distanced still a little fuzzy but doc says should be all good by Sunday. Left eye gets it in next Wednesday. Can’t believe how much brighter and vivid things are. She says I should be good to shoot 2 weeks after the left eye.
Happy grumpy ol guy here😜

Great to hear Ranch 13! If I recall correctly I waited two weeks between eyes. Wore an eye patch for a day and it took couple, three days for everything to get back to normal. I had forgotten how bright everything was after the surgery— went out and bought sunglasses for the first time in years!

I’m only going to be a week apart.
Friend of mine in Washington state they did the second one 2 days later
She told me to take the eye cup of yesterday then only wear it at night during bed time for 3 nights.
Things are moving right along, and I’m pretty hyped about how well it’s going.
Should be good to go for the gong at he’s at Alliance Ne. the end of April

having problems with vision bluring while shooting any suggestions for eye drops that might help thanks art
Art, I failed to mention this the other day. In my much younger days I shot on four Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard State pistol teams. The taxpayers (that's you) spent a lot of money researching what one has to do to be accurate, rifle or pistol. A shooter to be accurate and consistent has to get his shot off within 20 seconds after he catches his breath and starts his squeeze. The eye runs out of oxygen after that. The longer the delay the worse the blurring (And the score). And don't drink anything but water before and during the match. A fully awake person can detect tremors in his hands after one soda or coffee. Just depends how bad you want to win. We won a lot of silver (trophies) in the Army with this knowledge.
