	having problems with vision bluring while shooting any suggestions for eye drops that might help thanks art

	Are you seeing light flashes or new floaters in your vision? If so it could be a torn retina. I'd suggest seeing an eye doctor asap.

	I totally agree with Sure Shot. See a eye professional. I myself am legally blind and it ain't easy. Don't mess around with your eyesight. Good luck. Dale.

	Try the pure saline drops but stay away from anything with additives, especially those for red eyes. This is the advice my eye doctor gave me after he did my cataract surgery. And I agree to see an eye doctor, preferably an ophthalmologist, not an optometrist. John

	Refresh eye drops are the ones eye professionals commend. But having said that they won’t cure your vision problems. The preservision armed 2 vitamins might help. In the end it’s best to visit a good ophthalmologist , not to be confused with an optometrist, and get to the problem with your vision

	Many "mature" shooters have this problem, it cropped up several years ago for me. If the time limit allows, I rest my eyes between every other shot by looking at the trees behind the backstop. Check with your ophthalmologist to assure there is not another problem influencing this condition.

	As I've gotten older I'm experiencing the same problem of the target blurring out if I try to hold too long. I shoot indoor smallbore 3P and 4P and I've had to train myself to shoot faster. Shoot the first ten you see because they don't give elevens.

	An important note to all who haven't had cataract surgery yet: Usually surgeons will wait 1-2 years after the first operation. Make damn sure you both agree on the lens going in the second one. You MUST tell the surgeon what you want your eyes to do and the focal length you want. Don't assume you'll get a lens matching the first one. My surgeon gave me a different lens the second time (different surgeon),and I've had trouble ever since-double vision, etc. My opinion is, get the second lens the same focal length as the first. If you get the right ones, it's joy forever. If not.....

If you get the right ones, it's joy forever. If not..... I had surgery about 2 years ago. VA did my eyes. Did one eye then 4 weeks later did the other eye. I was near sighted since I was 5 years old and I went for far sighted lens. Want a chance to experience the other side. I am happy. I finally have a drivers license not requiring corrective lens and I have at least one pair of cheater glasses in every room of the house. LOL. You get use to it. If you are old and having vision issues GO TO A DOCTOR. Don't play around thinking drops will solve the issues. Being blind is no laughing matter!

	Art, if you don't stay hydrated during the course of a match your vision will give you fits. Dr Keith Lay used to tell us at the BPTR nationals, remember boys if you're not pissing every hour you ain't drinking enough water. I get cataract removed and tense put in tomorrow in the right eye, and next Wednesday get the left eye done. Hoping that it works as good for me as it did for a couple of my friends.

	Trust it all will go well for you Ranch13. I had the surgery about 15 years ago now and had the corrective lenses put in. Have had absolutely no problems and at 81 still don’t need glasses at all. Sights are still clear up close and at the front sight too.
